Friday Night Lecture, “ So What is Thread Painting all About?”

Join Nancy Prince for her fun-filled lecture “So What is Thread Painting all About?” Nancy will demonstrate her step by step techniques to show just how simple thread painting can be. The trunk show will detail a short history of some of her gorgeous thread painted quilts.

Saturday Night Lecture, “Rock that Quilt Block”
Blue Ribbon Pavilion

Join Linda Hahn for an evening of fun as she shows us what it means to “rock” a quilt block! Linda’s concept can be applied to most any quilt block! You can change the “flavor” of the block by simply rotating a patch, adding a color or dividing a patch. Linda’s extensive trunk show shows what happens when you play! Sometimes you turn an oops into an ahhh! – then… make several of the same block and put them together for surprise secondary and tertiary patterns! It’s amazing what happens when you relax and allow yourself to play! You’ll leave this lecture ready to rock your favorite block!!
