Our Mission

To promote quilts and quiltmaking as an art, a craft, and a reflection of both individual and national heritage.

• To provide opportunities for teaching and learning about quilts and quilt making.

• To contribute to the preservation of New England’s artistic and cultural heritage

• To showcase quilts, other quilted items, and quilt-related items from the past and present.

• To organize and conduct classes, lectures, and demonstrations on the subject of quilting.

• To present exhibits of antique and other quilts.

• To conduct contests and award prizes for new quilts.
